SCHOOL TRANSPORT
All students of Our Lady of Hope are provided with transportation to and from school each day, courtesy of the Department of Education and Science. This transportation service is managed by Bus Éireann, which has subcontracted bus operators to run each bus route.

If you have any questions about your child's transportation, please contact the Manager of School Transport at Bus Éireann. For concerns specifically related to your son or daughter's bus, please reach out to the bus driver or contractor directly. If you have inquiries regarding Bus Escorts, please contact our Bus Escort Coordinator, Laura Varela, at laura.varela@ourladyofhope.ie.

Bus Escorts, employed by the school and funded by the Department of Education and Science, have the primary responsibility of ensuring pupil safety while on the bus. To become a Bus Escort, undergoing Garda vetting is mandatory. Please inquire with Laura for further information.

Our students eagerly anticipate and enjoy their daily bus journeys to and from school. The positive atmosphere on the bus reflects the strong sense of community and connection among our bus escorts, drivers and students making each journey a delightful and enjoyable part of their school routine.
